I don't like cow's milk!
This last week was a rough one! I had a HORRIBLE case of the flu. Swine flu, that is. (Well that's what Jeff keeps saying!) But yeah, I was in bed ALL day Monday. Yuck. Jeff ditched school and took care of both me and Katelyn. He was a great nurse and nanny, ha! Tuesday was much better, but I wasn't quite back to "normal." We gave Katelyn some formula on Tues. because I was dehydrated and she was still hungry after I'd feed her. She only took about 15 milliliters, and 10 minutes later looked like this. So we spent a good part of the day at the pediatrician's office. As suspected, she is allergic to cow's milk. We hope she'll out grow this! Thankfully, she's fine. I'm fine. We're all great, really. But it was a rough couple of days! The rest of the week was playing catch-up. One thing's for sure, days like these make you appreciate your health, family, and many more blessings!

Family Reunion in AZ
So last weekend Kate and I visited Arizona for our family reunion. Aunt Kara was up visiting and offered to make the drive down with us. We couldn't resist! I had been wanting to go down to visit our huge, extended family for a while. I think Katelyn was a little surprised when we walked in Grandma Higgi's house and saw people everywhere. She LOVED it! While there, we got our five generation picture, and Aunt Kara helped Katelyn learn to roll from her tummy to her back! (Thanks Kara, we are sick of rescuing Miss Kate when she rolls from her back to her tummy and gets stuck!) Jeff was able to come down for a day and say hello to everyone. He flew down Saturday morning and drove us home Saturday night. What a guy! Anyway, I'm so glad we went. We had a lot of fun and it was nice to see the fam!

I'm getting so BIG!
Katelyn had her four month check up this week. She is getting so big! She now weighs 14.10lbs (75th percentile) and is 241/2" long (75th percentile)! I just keep wondering how I'm going to continue toting this girl around...
She received three lovely shots! You can see her little knot in her leg in the picture below. She cried a TON...and I managed not to cry even though I felt like crying with her. Sad, sad.

Poor, baby girl. We are sorry you had to get shots!
